Lofi Timer — both the website (lofitimer.net) and the Chrome extension — is built to respect your privacy. The short version: we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data about you.

What we store

Your timer settings, presets, tasks, chosen scene and focus stats are saved locally in your browser (localStorage / the extension's local storage). This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

What we do not do

  • No accounts, logins or personal information.
  • No selling or sharing of user data with third parties.
  • No cross-site tracking or advertising profiles.

Third-party services

The website streams music via embedded YouTube players; when you press play, YouTube may set its own cookies and apply its privacy policy. The website also uses privacy-respecting analytics (aggregate page views only, no personal identifiers). The Chrome extension plays its own bundled music and checks whether the Lofi Cat channel is live; it sends no personal data.
